Değerli Meslektaşlarım,
Türk Oftalmoloji Derneği Pediatrik Oftalmoloji ve Şaşılık Birimi tarafından 27 Eylül 2026 Pazar günü Bursa TODEM’de düzenlenecek olan “Şaşılık Cerrahisinde Planlama” başlıklı kursumuza sizleri davet etmekten mutluluk duyuyoruz. Kursumuz Ankara, İstanbul ve İzmir TODEM’de önceden gerçekleştirildi, yoğun ilgi ile karşılandı ve çok olumlu geri dönüşler alındı. Şaşılık Cerrahisinde bildiğimiz gibi cerrahi öncesi hastanın doğru değerlendirilmesi ve doğru planlamanın yapılması cerrahi işlem kadar önem taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle Kursumuzu TOD Bursa Şubesine bağlı olan illerimizdeki meslektaşlarımız için tekrarlamak istedik.
Kursumuzun temel başlıkları:
- Şaşılık cerrahisi endikasyonları
- Cerrahi planlamada dikkat edilecek temel noktalar
- İntraoperatif dikkat edilmesi gereken önemli konular
- Postoperatif komplikasyonların önlenmesi ve yönetimi şeklinde olacaktır.
Bu başlıklar detaylı şekilde anlatılacak ve olgu örnekleri ile öğlenden sonraki bölümde interaktif olarak tartışılacaktır.

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Executive Board of the Turkish Ophthalmological Association (TOA) Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Society, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the course "Planning in Strabismus Surgery," to be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Bursa Turkish Ophthalmology Education Center (TODEM).
Following its successful organization in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, where it received excellent attendance and highly positive feedback, we are pleased to offer this course once again for ophthalmologists practicing in the provinces affiliated with the TOA Bursa Branch. Successful strabismus surgery relies not only on surgical expertise but also on comprehensive preoperative evaluation and meticulous surgical planning. Recognizing the critical role of clinical decision-making in achieving optimal outcomes, this course has been designed to provide a practical and evidence-based approach to surgical planning.
The scientific program will cover:
- Indications for strabismus surgery
- Fundamental principles of surgical planning
- Essential intraoperative considerations
- Prevention and management of postoperative complications
These topics will be presented through comprehensive lectures in the morning sessions, followed by interactive case-based discussions in the afternoon, allowing participants to apply key concepts to real-world clinical scenarios.
