Değerli Meslektaşlarım,
Türk Oftalmoloji Derneği Uvea-Behçet Birimi tarafından sanal ortamda gerçekleştirilecek olan Beceri Aktarım Kursunun (BAK) konusu “Üveitlerde Klinik ve Laboratuvar Tanı Yaklaşımı” olacaktır.
Üveitlerin tanısında klinik ve görüntüleme bulgularının doğru yorumlanması altın standarttır. Laboratuvar ise gerektiğinde ve gerektiği kadar yapılması koşuluyla önemli bir tanısal yardımcıdır. Üveitlerde tanıya giderken istenecek tetkiklerin bir standardı yoktur ve bu testler her olgu için farklılık gösterir. Hatta birçok olguda sadece klinik bakı ile tanı konulabilir ve tetkike hiç gerek yoktur. Bu konuda doğru bir yaklaşım benimsemek ve gereksiz tetkikten kaçınmak zaman ve emeğin yanı sıra maddi açıdan da tasarruf sağlayacaktır. Üveitlerin tanısına doğru yaklaşımın öğretilmesi konusunda bu BAK’ın büyük katkı sağlayacağını düşünmekteyiz.
BAK’ın ilk oturumunda üveit pratiğimizde sık gördüğümüz 8 farklı üveitik antitede klinik ve laboratuvar tanı yaklaşımı anlatılacaktır. İkinci oturumda katılımcılar daha küçük 4 gruba ayrılarak eğiticiler ile interaktif bir ortamda olgu sunumlarına katılacaktır. Odalarda hangi eğiticinin hangi olguyu sunacağı önceden paylaşılmayacaktır. Amaç eğitici ve katılımcıların olguları karşılıklı olarak tartışabileceği bir ortam yaratmaktır.
Üveite gönül veren herkesi toplantımıza davet ediyoruz. Ancak, toplantının daha verimli ve interaktif olabilmesi amacıyla katılımcı sayısı 24 ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Bu 24 kişiden biri olabilmek için önden “online kayıt” yaptırmak gerekecektir.

Dear Colleagues,
The topic of the virtual Skills Transfer Course (STC), which will be organized by the Uvea and Behçet Disease Society of the Turkish Ophthalmological Association, will be ‘Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostic Approach in Uveitis’.
The correct interpretation of clinical and imaging findings is the gold standard in the diagnosis of uveitis. Laboratory examinations on the other hand, are helpful if performed when necessary and as needed. There is no standard diagnostic approach for uveitis and it differs for each case. In many cases, diagnosis can be made only by clinical examination and laboratory examinations are not required. To adopt a correct diagnostic approach and avoid unnecessary investigations is very important in order to save time, effort and money. We think that this STC will make a great contribution in teaching the correct approach to the diagnosis of uveitis.
In the first session of this STC, clinical and laboratory findings of 8 different uveitic entities that we frequently encounter, will be presented. Then the participants will be divided into 4 smaller groups and participate in the second session of case presentations with the trainers. In order to provide an interactive environment, cases will not be shared with the participants in advance.
We invite all colleagues interested in uveitis to attend our virtual STC. However, to make the meeting more efficient and interactive, the number of participants is limited to 24. An “Online Registration” will be required to become one of them.
