Sayın Meslektaşlarım,
Türk Oftalmoloji Derneğimizin ve Optik, Refraksiyon ve Az Görme Rehabilitasyonu (ORR) Birimimizin göz bebeği olarak nitelenen Uygulamalı Esat Işık kurslarımızdan 21 incisini pandemi koşulları nedeniyle 10-11 Nisan 2021 de sanal ortamda gerçekleştirdik. Beceri aktarımı ve interaktif etkileşimi sağlayabilme konusunda endişe ve heyecanla planladığımız kursumuz ile ilgili övgü dolu ve olumlu geri bildirimler almak birimimiz için gurur kaynağı oldu. Bu ivme ile, özellikle aramıza yeni katılan genç meslektaşlarımızın eğitimlerini destekleyebilmek amacıyla 14-15 Ağustos 2021 tarihinde 22. Sanal Esat Işık kursumuzu planladık.
Belki de dünyanın en emek yoğun programlarından birisi olan Esat Işık kurslarımızdan 22 incisi de, hedeflenen becerilerin kazandırılmasını temel alacak şekilde toplam 9 istasyonda verilecektir. Her istasyonun süresi 50 dakika olup, 72 kursiyer katılacaktır.
Oftalmolojinin en temel konuları olan; temel refraksiyon, skiyaskopi, görme eşelleri, işlevsel görme puanının hesaplanması, optik cihazlarla refraksiyon muayenesi, heteroforya ve binoküler görme muayenesi, gözlük camlarının özellikleri, az görme ve re/habilitasyonunda temel ve ileri yöntemler gibi pek çok konu, alanlarında yetkin eğitimciler tarafından aktarılacaktır. Kurs istasyonlarının sınırlı sayısı nedeniyle başvuru sırasına göre ilk 72 kişi kursa kabul edilecektir.
Katılımcıların, kurstan önce kendilerine ulaştırılacak olan bilgi notlarını okuyarak gelmeleri kurs verimini arttıracaktır. We have successfully completed the XXI. Esat Işık Applied Courses, a truly special program for both the Turkish Ophthalmological Association and our Optics, Refraction and Low Vision Rehabilitation Unit (TSORR), on 10-11 April 2021, in an online format.
As we have planned our course with excitement about and a focus on skill transfer and interaction, we are, as a whole unit, proud to have received your positive feedback and kind words. To maintain the impetus of this last course and to support the training of our younger colleagues, in particular, we have planned the XXII. Esat Işık Applied Courses, to be held on 14-15 August 2021.
Esat Işık courses, perhaps one of the world’s most labour-intensive training programs, shall aim to equip the attendants with the projected skills in a total of 9 sessions. Each session shall last for 50 minutes and will be attended by 72 people. Qualified trainers shall offer their knowledge on the fundamental topics of ophthalmology such as basic refraction, skiascopy, vision charts, calculation of functional vision score, refraction examination with optic devices, binocular vision examination, spectacle lens properties, basic and advanced methods on low vision rehabilitation. Due to the limited number of sessions, 72 people shall be admitted to the courses on a first-come-first-served basis.
It is recommended for the participants to come to the sessions having read the information notes as this would increase the efficiency of the training.
