Dear Colleagues,

Turkish Association of Ophthalmology will be hosting the 40th Spring Symposium on 26-28 May 2017 at Wyndham Grand Otel, Levent-Istanbul, in the memory of Prof. Kubilay Çetinkaya who recently passed away.

The focus of this year's 40th Spring Symposium is "Paediatric Ophthalmology." The current approaches in this field will be presented by our expert colleagues focused at scientific and clinical implementations, through panels and conferences.  Our goal is to maintain a high level expertise from which all our colleagues would benefit.

Panels to be held by Uvea Behçet and Vitreoretinal Surgery units in the morning of the first day of the Symposium, will enrich our symposium.

I would like to offer my most sincere thanks to my esteemed colleagues at TAO Istanbul Branch Executive Board who dedicated themselves to organizing the Symposium and perfecting the scientific schedule, all our colleagues who shared their knowledge and experience to maintain a high level of content at the symposium, sponsors that made it possible to offer our symposium at ideal conditions, and Global Turizm Kongre and the managers and employees of the Event Organisation company for their work on the symposium.
