Değerli Meslektaşlarımız,
Son yıllarda refraktif cerrahi alanında teknolojik gelişmeler ve yeni teknikler ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu teknikleri ve yeni teknolojileri anlamak ve bunlara hakim olmak hem biz oftalmologlar hem de hastalarımız için çok önemlidir.
"Refraktif Cerrahide Femtosaniye Lazer Uygulamaları" konulu özel bir toplantı olan Beceri Transfer Laboratuvarı'na (BAL) katılımınız için Katarakt ve Refraktif Cerrahi Birimi Yönetim Kurulu olarak bu resmi daveti yapmaktan mutluluk duyuyoruz. Bu konuda düzenlenecek olan BAL kursuna katılacak kursiyerlere femtosaniye laser ile LASIK flebi oluşturulması ve SMILE/lentikül cerrahisi ilgili temel bilgi ve beceriler bu konuda deneyimli meslektaşlarımız tarafından hayvan gözlerinde uygulamalı olarak aktarılacaktır. Kursiyerler LASIK flebi ve SMILE/Lentikül cerrahisinde kullanılan femtosaniye lazer parametreleri, mikro cerrrahi teknikleri ve algoritmaları öğreneceklerdir.
Uygulama için mevcut mikroskop, hayvan gözlerinin sayısındaki kısıtlılıklar nedeniyle ve etkili beceri aktarımını da hedefleyerek toplantı kontenjanını 24 katılımcıyla sınırlandırdık. Kısıtlı kaynaklar nedeniyle kursumuza kayıtlar sadece kıdemli asistanlar ve uzmanlara açık olacaktır.
Konuyla ilgilenen, bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirmek isteyen meslektaşlarımızı 26 Mayıs 2024 tarihinde Ankara TODEM'de düzenlenecek TOD Katarakt ve Refraksiyon Cerrahisi Birimi BAL programına katılmaya davet ediyoruz.

In recent years, technological advancements and new techniques have emerged in the field of refractive surgery. Understanding and mastering these techniques and new technologies are crucial for us both ophthalmologists, and our patients.
We are delighted to extend this official invitation, as th Executive Board of the Turkish Ophtalmology Association (TOA), Cataract and Refractive Surgery Division (CRS), for your participation in the Skill Transfer Laboratory (STL), a special meeting focusing on "Femtosecond Laser Applications in Refractive Surgery." The STL course on this topic will involve practical demonstrations by experienced colleagues, covering the creation of LASIK flaps and SMILE/lenticule surgery using femtosecond laser on animal eyes. Participants will learn femtosecond laser parameters, microsurgical techniques, and algorithms used in LASIK flaps and SMILE/lenticule surgery.

We have limited the meeting capacity to 24 participants, aiming for effective skill transfer in limited numbers due to limitations on the number of microscopes and animal eyes available for practice. Due to limited resources, registration for our course is open only to senior assistants and ophthalmologists.
